Like I said the top 100 free apps on the market have some really good selection. Some of my favorites are BBC news, dropbox, facebook messenger, imgur, google reader, pandora, poweramp, lookout, google+, twitter, facebook, and barcode scanner. Also remember to check for updates in the market and update all of the apps that came with the phone.
